Technical Tours

In the morning, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Plataforma Solar de Almeria (PSA), one of the world's leading R&D centers for CST technology. The visit to PSA will include a lunch break.

This can be followed by a visit of CSP plant Andasol 3, a 50 MW parabolic trough plant with 6 hours storage capacity (located here).

Pre-registration is required; participation is possible only for conference attendees. Access is only possible by using our buses; please do not travel there independently.

Schedule

08:30: Departure from conference venue

09:30 -12:00: Visit of PSA (max 150 Tickets available)

12:00-13:30: Lunch

13:30 (PSA visitors only): Return to conference venue

13:30 – 14:30 (PSA and Andasol visitors): Bus travel to Andasol plant

14:30-16:30: Visit of Andasol (max 75 Tickets available)

Between 17:30 and 18:30, depending on the group: Return at conference venue (please check your flight/train/bus schedule and plan enough time for your travels. Please be aware that return can be delayed due to traffic or other circumstances).

Important: Please bring your passport or ID as well as your name badge.

Participation is only available to those who have purchased the technical tours when registering.
