
Who can attend the Event? What's the Target Group?
At the scientific SolarPACES conference, the world’s leading CST experts come together: Researchers, project developers, industry professionals, politicians and financial players as well as major international companies active in the field.
We welcome everyone with a valid ticket. Ticket sale will start in June.
What language will the event be in?
English
Will I be able to watch the event online?
No, we do not offer this option.
Are you going to take photos during the event?
Yes, we take pictures which could be published.
If you do not wish to be shown, please let us know at the info desk.
Registration & Participation
How can I register for the event?
Online registration will open in mid-June. You will be able to buy tickets in our ticket shop. All your questions about prices can be answered from then on.
Venue & Accommodation
Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, the venue is handicapped accessible.
Travel & Visa
Do I need a visa to travel to Spain?
Please inform yourself independently about the entry requirements for Spain for your country.
Do you send visa invitation letters?
Yes, once you have registered we can send you an invitation letter. Please send this request including full name, address, company, VAT number to info@solarpaces-conference.org. Please allow enough time (at least 2 months) for the whole visa process. We will answer your request as soon as possible, but don't guarantee a specific time for sending the letters. It may take up to 2 weeks.
Are meals and drinks included in the registration fee?
Day catering (lunch and coffee breaks) and non-alcoholic drinks are included in all tickets.
If you buy a day ticket for the first conference day, the Welcome Reception is also included.
If you buy a full conference ticket, the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner are included additionally.
Catering
Are there options for vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly meals?
Yes, you have the option to state your preferences and allergies during the registration process and we will have you covered. You can check at the information desk if you have difficulty finding something that suits you.
Social Activities
Will there be time for networking?
There will be plenty of time for networking during the breaks, the welcome reception, the gala dinner and the social events (more information to follow soon).
How can I apply to be a speaker or present of a poster?
You have until 1 April to upload an abstract. Your work will be reviewed and you'll receive notification of acceptance (poster or oral presentation) in June. More information
Will translation or simultaneous interpretation be available?
No, we do not offer this service.
Is there a special program for accompanying persons?
Accompanying persons may attend the Gala Dinner by purchasing a Dinner Accompanying Ticket.
Do you offer the option of an online presentation?
No we do not offer this service.
Will you share a list of participants?
We will have an internal area on a separate platform (fourwaves) where you can find profiles of all attendees.
Will there be any side events? Is there a technical tour?
Yes there will be a technical tour and side events again. More information will follow.

Proceedings
Where will the paper be published?
The SolarPACES conference proceedings will be published with TIB Open Publishing in an open access conference proceedings series, covering papers with sufficient scientific quality. You can read more here.
What's the review criteria?

Is there a timeline for publifications?
Each volume has its own timeline, so it's difficult to provide a general estimate. The process typically takes between 6 to 10 months. You can always check your status on the TIB platform after logging in. More details on proceedings can be found here.

Are there additional fees for publification?
Both the publication of papers and the access to the published volumes are free of charge. Please read more about proceedings here.
